1st Ed. AWDWR & Depot problems

Hi I’m new here and to ROR. I’m got a copy of the 1st Edition of AWSDWR and I on the Depot project. When I get to the part where I add the ‘add_to_cart’ action and the Cart Class definition and methods. I then declared the 2 models (line_item , cart). When I refresh and click “add to cart” I get an “Unknown action No action responded to add_to_cart” error. I’m wondering if it has something to do with my Ruby and ROR versions (1.8.4 & 1.1.6 respectively). Or maybe just plain dumb on my part. Could someone please point me in the right direction to solve this. Regards Dale |
