I think you should a different analogy for content providers than comparing them to Eclipse extension points. Developers who don’t use Eclipse (like myself) will have no idea what it means. I still get the point but I think a more generalized example could be used. Packages in a class library? Multiple shared libraries comprising a system? |

Also, on page 31 of hte PDF, there is reference to how Eclipse plugins reference resources. I think the explanation was sufficient before that and referencing how Eclipse does things isn’t necessary. Not using Eclipse that has no meaning to me, and I’m going to go out on a limb and guess that most Eclipse users have not done Eclipse plugin development. |
