Chapter 2 Form Submit issue

Hi,

I’m working through Chapter 2 and hit trouble submitting the form. I get the following error

I am running a local server through mamp, could this be causing problems?

Update: I was able to get the form to submit by turning off Require IP Address and User Agent for Login in sys prefs?!

Not sure if this will be necessary on my actual webserver.

I’m having hte same issue, but the fix you described doesn’t work for me…any other ideas?

Do you have comments enabled for that section? I imagine you do, but just checking.

Yep, I just double checked…I’ve got comments enabeled and tried turning off the “Require IP Address and User Agent” Still no luck. I’m running locally off MAMP…seems like this could be a folder permissions issue perhaps?

I think something got screwed up in my local permissions somewhere…I reinstalled a new local server and copied everything over…worked fine after i reset up the custom field and statuses.
